i really didn't like her interview with klein, but i also recognize that i'm not one of her constituents and that things like this are laudable
This is the hardest I have seen any member of Congress work to try and address transphobia in Congress, and her ability to get nearly all Democratic lawmakers to sign onto this letter is something any first would applaud

I don't disagree with the initial premise that a big part of the issue is voters feeling unwanted/unrepresented by the democratic party. but I do think klein seems to think progressives posting on bsky have far more power/influence than they actually do. he is a major voice in the (cont)

as a general skeptic of the industry, I'm sure that I'm appreciative of this because it supports my existing biases, but I do still think it's worth reading for everyone to get a sense of what's driving the movement for agi

If you hear or read this in terms of almost any specific comment or "MAGA Republicanism" targeting individuals or groups — of which there are many — the horror of Klein's emptiness becomes clear.

it's funny, in a bad way, that Klein is talking about learning to live with maga Republicans right at a time that Republicans are openly discussing how it is is *impossible* to live with liberals! not even leftists, liberals! If Klein and others want to figure out how to keep a civil society (1/2)
among other things i believe in studying the right in order to understand their tactics--to see, frankly, what we can learn from them
