Thank you, Mayor Wu, team, and partners.

Best to you for a happy Thanksgiving.

Good question! I’ll circle back here after I have a chance to confirm. I think the final condition allows access to that walkway to USPS *outside* of the fare gates, since I don’t recall seeing fare gates near that walkway. Right now, with the fare gates wide open, it’s in an interim condition.

Oh... I thought you were "booing" to argue against varying distances between fare gates — the topic of my post.

I'm not going to dive into a discussion of pros and cons of fare gates right now. Will leave that to you and others!

Have a great Thanksgiving. 🦃

While I can't imagine the distress an author would feel losing an archive, I can say as someone that depends on archives that the loss of news and commentaries is a disgrace to readers.

Earlier this week, I discovered that a valuable Globe piece was no longer available. 👇 bsky.app/profile/fort...
Why am I bringing this FLIM-FLAM up today?

1) The MBTA headhouse on Seaport Common remains unbuilt despite multiple victory laps taken regarding its funding.

2) The Boston Globe no longer links to Logan’s critically important story. I’m concerned about that. www.bostonglobe.com/business/201...

South Station fare gates are scheduled to go live in December. Here's what to know.
Commuter rail riders at South Station will need a ticket to get in and out of the station starting next month, according to the MBTA.

Agree… There were definitely at least two widely-varying distances.

Because you believe Boston is somewhere between the 2nd and 5th “safest cities,” that barb is necessary?

And I thought I was annoying. You take the cake! 🎂
