I totally fucked up the face, but that’s as much as I’m willing to work on it as I continue to experiment with style.

That thing where you're nice enough to let everyone out of the lift ahead of you but you're also a quick walker and they all get in your way afterwards.

Yeah. This is doing my fucking head in, actually.
AI has been devastating for the “checking on youtube to see if the movie has any trailers yet” user cohort

I have managed to remove Microsoft from my life except for:

- a Minecraft realm
- GitHub for my websites
- work computer
- gaming PC (I’m working on it, it’ll soon be dual-boot with Linux at the very least)

The Minecraft realm is the only thing I’m actively giving them money for at this stage.

Not a great reward for all that work, ngl.

Apparently I drew this Sora picture for my wife over 15 years ago and I have zero memories of it.

Might do a digital inking pass on it for fun like I did my Assassin’s Creed piece from the same era. I’ll thread it in here if I do.

Only Hyrule Field remains.

Didn’t get as many done as I’d like last 2 nights due to tiredness, but not far off now. Saving Hyrule Field and Castle for the end.

Then I can get back on with the fun stuff, like side quests and boss monster.

Pretty clear who and what Gilligan’s taking a swipe at in Pluribus ep4.

The Zork trilogy was released as freeware in 1998 to promote Grand Inquisitor and most modern IF is written in Inform, which compiles into the successors of the original Z-Machines, so a modern game could be ran on that vintage hardware but sure let’s all give BDS target Microsoft some free press!

I think maybe 2 more nights at this pace?

The lone one on the right is a match-the apples-on-the-trees puzzle, but as I approached them, one got *obliterated* by lightning and the fruit hasn’t grown back yet.

Thankfully haven’t seen this because I turned off Apple Intelligence the second it dropped and haven’t had to think about it since.
Not satisfied with just destroying their own brand goodwill, OS companies are now using AI to try to destroy the good names of the apps users install. (Scrivener taking out adds to explain how it has no AI but Apple adds some anyway.)

Just found 28 baby spiders tucked along my home-office ceiling/wall.

I am very unhappy with this development.

every author in the class action, please file the claim.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

I tried Procreate mobile on the bus today, which an experience best be described as ‘bumpy finger-painting’.

It did not go very well. Maybe I could redraw this.

The Steam Deck’s been a net positive for PC gaming because it’s made:

- devs go the extra mile to optimise games for lower-powered systems so they can get the green compatibility badge (which also makes for better Switch ports)
- more games than ever functional on Linux.
