Most of the #Arctic Ocean is covered with sea ice in February. However, the edges are observing warming at the ocean surface. Warming trends are particularly large in the North Atlantic and Davis Strait/Labrador Sea.

Glacier National Park is my favorite place to be in the summer. The crisp mountain air, trickling streams and wildlife make it so special to me. This is an older image from an area that is now closed off for restoration. Only the bears, marmots and mountain goats get to see this summertime view now.
