GOOD NEWS: A coalition of solar energy companies, labor unions, nonprofits, and homeowners is suing the Trump EPA over its termination of the Solar for All program.

Solar for All would help 900,000 American households get access to solar power and save them $350 million each year on utility costs.

Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay!

Today we celebrate the culture, history, and heritage of those who have stewarded lands and waters for generations.

We must continue to invest in, empower, and center Indigenous communities, especially in protecting our planet. 🌎

Wayne National Forest was established to stop environmental degredation after coal mining and logging destroyed miles of pristine woodlands.

Thanks to Trump's recent executive order targeting 100 million acres of U.S. forests, however, Ohio's sole national forest could be destroyed once again.

The Trump administration's coal lease sales in Wyoming and Montana completely flopped this week.

Forcing people to use coal is like requiring Americans to travel by horse and buggy.

Coal is a relic of the past that is not coming back no matter how hard Trump tries.

"We will have more intense flooding events, the water quality would go down, fish species like trout would suffer, and the tourism dollars for local towns will be affected too."

Gutting the Roadless Rule would hurt all of us while enriching polluters who destroy our planet for profit.

The implications of the Senate passing just one CRA resolution against RMPs are grave and far-reaching.

Senate Republicans passed three — for Alaska, North Dakota, and Montana.

Treasured landscapes in these states are now at risk of unilateral, partisan decisions like the approval of Ambler Road.

Resource Management Plans (RMPs) are the foundation of how we manage over 640 million acres of U.S. public lands.

They establish safeguards for watersheds, wildlife, and recreation areas, facilitate energy development, and provide a mechanism for harmonizing the needs of local communities. 🌲

Last night, Senate Republicans passed three Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolutions against Bureau of Land Management Resource Management Plans, effectively dismantling public land management as we know it.

@markey.senate.gov laid out how Trump's reckless attacks on clean energy are increasing costs for families -- all to push expensive, dirty, outdated fossil fuel and line the pockets of Big Oil and Gas execs.
