This morning, I stood with Democratic Members of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition to sound the alarm on America’s absence from COP30.

As the world confronts the climate crisis, the United States must lead.

We owe our children a commitment to be good stewards of God’s creation.

“Policies like an end to utility rate hikes in NJ and a commitment to rejoin RGGI in VA resonated powerfully with voters. Rather than using these victories as momentum for ongoing negotiations, @governor.pa.gov surrendered our most powerful tool to lower energy costs." @conservationpa.bsky.social

The Trump administration is set to allow oil and gas leasing across the entire Arctic National Wildlife Refuge coastal plain, a wilderness landscape that has been protected for over 40 years.

Nothing is sacred to this administration.

They are destroying our planet to enrich their Big Oil friends.

LCV state affiliates talked to thousands of voters in GA, NJ, and VA this year to engage and educate them about rising energy costs.

It worked.

Americans decisively rejected Trump's ban on clean energy, bailouts for Big Oil, and other ineffective proposals that have increased our bills.

Trump's pick to oversee our public lands, former Rep. Steve Pearce, has a lifetime 4% LCV score thanks to an extensive anti-public lands and anti-environmental track record.

Public lands belong to us, not polluters.
