This is 404 Media's @jasonkoebler.bsky.social waving at himself through a Flock camera; one of 60 we learned was left exposed to the open internet. Not only could anyone with a link livestream it, but some admin portals were open with no login credentials required.

For those wondering if there is a way to edit images or descriptions on @atcr.io so it feels less empty. Use OCI labels, and assign urls to “io.atcr.icon” and “io.atcr.image”
It also listens to OCI labels in the docker image for author, description etc.
I have 2 custom ones that can set the avatar and readme file.

Ive just got done scrolling through multiple posts complaining about various nyt articles, then see this post with my exact thought.

Please stop spreading ragebait nonsense by linking to actual articles… they want the views thats the whole point.
ive been exposed roughly 500 times to that ragebait headline of the nyt on bluesky today, greatly increasing my perception that women in the workplace is now apparently a newly opened front in the culture war, meaning that the piece did its propaganda work very effectively

Immutable releases announced at GitHub Universe!

Once tagged, releases can’t be changed. No more worrying about malicious actors swapping out assets or moving tags.

Single-use version tags with signed attestations. This is the supply chain protection open source really needs 🔒

If you want to check it out: atcr.io
Im actively developing it, so expect bugs.
New in the last week is support for manifest lists (aka multi-arch images). And cargo holds now have embedded PDS that handles permissions and notifications. @hold01.atcr.io

Concepts of a plan
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., have sent a letter to Trump requesting a meeting to discuss a path forward to keep the government open past the September 30th funding deadline.
Schumer, Jeffries request meeting with Trump ahead of potential government shutdown
The request comes after the U.S. Senate rejected a stopgap measure that would have kept the government open another few weeks.

Becoming increasingly clear we’re gonna have to build a parallel infrastructure for all the media we really love. The reason all of this is happening under the color of law is hyperconsolidation, dissent being traded straight up for merger approval, or fear of harassment.
