Cara Pils is a word for "face fucked drunk on a budget" in everyday Belgian
Cara was a word for 'face' in everyday Latin, very rare in ancient writings, but it took off in Romance languages like Spanish.
Cara became chiere in Old French, and via the Normans, it took on new meanings in English, going from 'facial expression' to 'happiness' and 'loud shout' – namely, cheer.

Very niche joke in 3... 2... 1...
"Why do West-Flemish devs use HLSL instead of GLSL?"
"Why?"

How long until "millennials have re-invented self owned physical servers"?
What name could Silicon Valley guys invent for this "novel" approach?

I think there is one thing missing in Interslavic: a deep hilariously funny pool of swear words, "rozumlivy vsěm slovianam bez učenia"(r)(tm). I will start with this one: kurwa + kurac = kurvac

The German word ‘Pferd’ and its Dutch cognate ‘paard’ are horses of mixed breed parentage.
Their common ancestor came from Latin ‘paraverēdus’ (substitute post-horse), a word composed of an Ancient Greek element and a Gaulish one.
Zoom in on my new infographic to learn everything about it:

The more I learn about psychopaths the more I think that the noun "mimic" (like in the context of modern movies and game media) explains their behaviour much much more than anything else.
Do not humanise the mimics. There is no humanity in them.

Interesting thoughts on sociopathy from Chase Hughes: cities are creating them. More and more we are just watching crime in the making and just filming it on our smartphone cameras, instead of trying to help. Empathy is dying.

Who's watching Witcher season 4? Am I the only one who's finding the actors play extremely dull, as well as the screen writing in general, full of really cheap cinema cliché (e.g. poor kids must always have their faces covered in soot etc).

Was reading a lot about psychopathy recently. And now the Douglas Adams quote comes to mind:
«Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job»
