i am super ambivalent to pc ports (i emulate, who cares) but i think vanillaware's "we're fucking starving!" routine each game gets funnier the more strategy games they make that they absolutely refuse to port to pc. just on principle. not even a technical thing their lead just Does Not Want To

I genuinely think kids in the mid-to-late aughts growing up on emulators (read: piracy) may genuinely have been far, far healthier for the future of the industry than all the kids growing up on stuff like Roblox being the norm.
