This weekend is our first big snow since moving to our house in the woods. I'm so fucking excited because a) a guy named Roger plows the driveway, so no shoveling for me And b) our yard is a GREAT sledding hill, and I've been waiting to surprise the boys with a giant snow tube since October

It's garbage and recycling day, and they come at sunrise, so I have to make the run in the dark.
Thank goodness for ice cleats. I've never felt more like I live in Vermont.

Today is a big day. Brought Burninator to an in home childcare I was hoping he could spend time in a couple days a week for socialization (and some time for me to be an adult) and he made it about 30 minutes. I don't think he's ready. I'm not either.

I don't like it but the furnace in our new house runs on fuel oil, and the fuel peeps just show up when an algorithm tells them to, but the algorithm done fucked up because the tank is empty and I done fucked up because I figured they'd just show up instead of make sure I knew how this worked. Whee
