Just tried Bazzite on a spare NVMe on my main rig. Standard desktop and most gaming is already very solid! But VRChat, through no fault of its own, still has a ways to go. SteamVR miraculously detected my BSB, controllers, and Tundras (through an old SW4 dongle). But Room Setup and reprojection 1/2

A lot of C++/OpenGL code (a language I hadn't yet learned) I've been writing lately has been suspiciously easy to either get right the first time or fix quickly. My first meaningful program had exactly 2 bugs in it, and neither of them were crashes.
The greatest self doubt comes from code that works first try

I'm not normally one to share things like this but I think it's worth it just this once. There's an EU petition to #StopKillingGames which would prevent companies from revoking access to games you bought just because they want to end support. More info + petition at @stopkillinggames.bsky.social
