Since reading The Rachel Incident in 2023 I have been WAITING for someone to do an adaptation of it so I'm extremely delighted to learn that there's going to be a miniseries of it that was just announced today

I think my main opinion on the Oscars this yea might end up being that The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and It Was Just An Accident should somehow all be able to win Best International Film. I haven't seen the other nominees but those three are all INCREDIBLE and I can't pick between them.

As a very casual enjoyer of figure skating I thought the narrative from today would surely be “everyone did so well, but some people did better than others” and instead we got the curse of hubris and nerves??? Wild times!

Never thought I would find myself going to bat for Hindley Earnshaw but the news that his character has been cut from the upcoming Wuthering Heights movie has utterly baffled me. Like he's not at all a nice person but he is…very important to the plot?????

Possibly controversial opinion but my household has decided we liked Shun Sato's figure skating routine more than Ilia Malinin's because none of us could actually figure out what Malinin was artistically trying to convey by skating to notes app poetry voiceover dressed as a fantasy villain.
