this has always been the end goal of the Starmer project, but I felt somewhat insane for years for believing so bc no one else in my circle could see it!
Best understood, Labour's attack on juries, as a further lurch towards authoritarianism. Who, now, will stand in the way of a State that wants to imprison its opponents?

In the last 24 hours I've come across a couple of acts with the names Luna and Sneaky Feelings...
my one genuine grievance with gen z is that they keep naming their bands names that have already been taken, with little awareness as to how annoying that is

who could have predicted etc. this is what always happens, the starmer right knows it’s what always happens, and they’re doing it because they want to do it and like doing it

i think we can justifiably slice this thinner. trans issues are of very low salience to the voters democrats need to win on their right flank, and of very high salience to the voters democrats need to win on their left flank
Spanberger’s GOP foe spent 57% of her ad budget on anti-trans attacks. Spanberger focused on the economy. You see what won. trib.al/fkMmsR4

The simple truth told time and time again in the polls: The public doesn’t care about trans issues. Voters care deeply about the economy, inflation, & prices.
