Frankly when parents get mad about their teenage child leaving their religion because "I wanted a good religious family," they sound like incels who whine because they think they're entitled to having a girlfriend

a coworker was saying that her parents pierced her ears as a toddler and at the time she was like "why?" and hasn't worn earrings since grade school and would never have had that done on her own
