In Minneapolis, people who have never protested before are standing up to Trump's armed immigration thugs.

CEOs of some of the most powerful corporations on earth, meanwhile, are busy getting private screenings of Melania's documentary at the White House. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MC0vKzRmPos

Brexit's the reverse Midas. It turns everything to shit. It can't be made to "work" so it will keep dragging British governments and British PMs down until one of them ends it.

Precisely. Not long ago these former ministers were reviled by all. Are they really suddenly desirable?
But…former Tories should?

Wrong. It prolongs his agony. He needs to do a John Major, put up our shut up, to have this battle to either assert control or bow out gracefully. Starmer has made so many errors, if he blocks Burnham he will not stop the chatter.

He is one of the small number of European troops who went to Afghanistan and never did much nor went to the front line according to Donald Trump.

He died in 2008 aged 23 in Afghanistan when the patrol car he was in was blown up in Helmand Province.
