Let's goooooo. Now we got sprite support and audio working. It's a bit unhandy right now but you could actually create a game with it now. So it's basically early pre-alpha.
Here is the Github, but it's incredible dirty code.

Let's goooo. Arcaml, the r-cade like OCaml Game Engine now has keyboard input support and font rendering.
Don't be fooled by the low frame rate. The more I implement the lower it probably gets lol. Because I don't know what I'm doing.

function and get your game running. The problem is that it can't do a lot now. It's missing some features some people would call necessary, like inputs, text rendering, actual graphics where you design your sprites in 2d arrays, audio and a few other parts. But it can do this, which is cool.

I'm building Arcaml, basically the r-cade game engine from Racket in OCaml right now. I try to create a native backend (which is already somewhat working) and a web backend so you can use it for small game jams. The API is giga trivial. You just pass a config struct, init, update and a draw

I'm aiming to create Berta in a way that I need about 20-30 minutes to beat it. I've created half the levels now for the early release. I think I'm on a good pace right now. And look at that amazing gwaffix. :D

I've never felt so much pain in my entire life. But the results are worth it. Games are a huge part of my life and finally I got to pay some respect to the ones that shaped me the most. 10 Internet points for someone who knows where the last uncolored bois come from.

I really dig the new art style of Bertas Adventure now. You can see me play the tutorial here. It looks a bit stuttery, but I can promise you, it's smooth as hell.

The second boss fight from Bertas Adventure. After fighting the Big Bad Fox now it's time to face death itself. The boss is an homage to the iconic Castlevania boss. There will be a lot of action with the deadliest of all farm tools. The scythe.

I'm currently developing my Hardcore Precision Platformer Bertas Adventure and I really hate it when such games have unfair mechanics. So I implemented an unfair mechanic because I'm not the one suffering. lol

Trying to find a character style for a point and click adventure that I create to learn the Visionaire Studio Engine. I like this one a lot because it looks a bit silly and I can use the shape of the body to create heads in the real game.

I've seen a lot of people on the /r/BuyFromEU subreddit wanting to switch from Windows/MacOS over to Linux but they were intimidated by the sheer amount of choice you have. I try to make it as simple and simple as possible without the use of the scary terminal. Mint + Cinnamon should be a good start
