On this #caturday we celebrate that after 2 years Miss Dixie, the seizure prone kitty, has begun sleeping with me! We did have a startle at 4am that has her spring direct into the air and land in a laundry basket, but progress not perfection...right?

The other night we took my spouse's smart car to dinner. I've not been in one since Gopher's wreck in April, at least not with another person.
Our biceps kept touching and I said "I don't remember us bumping into each other like this" and hubby said "because your arms weren't that huge before."

When Bezos Company announced they planned to acquire iRobot, I got my API keys & blocked the vacuums from phoning home until I could get Valetudo-compatible hardware from Dreame. I knew this day was coming once Bezos Co was blocked from completing the buyout. Sad day.

Today @raleighgov.bsky.social launched a new Utility payment portal. By the time the SMS OTP/2FA reaches my phone the web session has timed out.
IMO the bigger issue: they don't sanitize the username/email field, making it case-sensitive, so my email has a mandatory capital letter now.

I saw zero coverage of this vehicle fire last Saturday. I am pretty sure it was a Tesla Model Y. This was near the RDU Airport exit on I-40 (vehicle west bound).

I served notice at work. I feel like I'm breaking up with someone incredible who has a drinking problem but refuses to change. It hurts so badly even though the environment became so toxic.
