Farage may have been an overt racist at school but there have been claims that he took these views well into adulthood. Alan Sked, UKIP founder, claimed years ago that Farage used racist terms and encouraged NF members into the Party. (Warning: v racist language) www.theguardian.com/politics/201....

Not sure how Labour can fully square the circle between admitting that Reform's proposals to deport children are racist, but their plans for deport children, even if born and raised in the UK, are "fair and compassionate".

Labour are adopting the cruel Danish immigration system not because it’s the right thing to do but because it is credited with slashing support for the far right party in Denmark. The funny thing is, over here in the UK, it’s just boosting the left! www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/greens...

This is so right it hurts. Everyone in politics and the media who attacks immigrants and other vulnerable groups is a coward. The alternative is having the courage to take on those who can fight back - the rich and powerful. The far right and the Govt may act tough but in reality they are wimps.
A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

The sort of performative cruelty one would usually expect from Trump. The fact a Labour Government is not only floating this but placing such a vindictive idea into public discourse should be a source of the deepest shame. Labour has lost its moral compass. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Labour was always the party of the downtrodden - no longer. If you are a Labour MP or Cllr, now is the time to consider switching your allegiance to the Greens. A party with a leader in @zackpolanski.bsky.social that punches up not down and is now the true keeper of Labour values.

But it's our BBC - and it's important.

Great to speak to CNN - Donald Trump shouldn't have his hands anywhere near our public services.

The far right has always been a magnet for abusers and paedophiles. Fascism is the ideology that justifies and glorifies absolute power, predatory behaviour and zero accountability. And that’s exactly what turns abusers and paedophiles on.

What is ecoanarchism? The recognition that environmental destruction is driven by powerful elites who have always extracted from nature to grow their wealth, build their weapons, erect their palaces and monuments. Saving our living planet and destroying hierarchy are the same battle.
