As terrible as the situation is, I love seeing Minneapolis step up and show up for their community. They have a long history of anarchism and antifascism going back to the 80s, and their history of radical activism is very strongly linked to Portland's own. Fuck around and find out.

I had that dream again
I rarely say much about Laura Jedeed, because I always feel a little torn and socials aren't places of nuance or complexity, but I don't think she's a bad person. I do think she's made some really poor and problematic choices, and I wish she would self-reflect more and consider a different approach.
I have mixed feelings, and it's important to note that folks in PDX actually know her irl. I like her as a person, she's really nice, and we always got along, but her approach is misguided, and she should unravel why she clings hard to being close w/ the right, given her background and upbringing.
