Once @eastbankmpls.bsky.social's new board is in place, (voting going on now) they should begin the process to get the city to retire the Marcy-Holmes name to better reflect how people understand that piece of local geography.

Dinky Park is located at 711 11th Ave SE, near the U of M campus and Dinkytown area.
The East Bank Neighborhoods Partnership officially submitted a request to rename the park to the MPRB in 2024.

Each of EBNP's 3 districts allow for three directors, one of whom must be a renter.

Metro Transit says it will patrol nearly every light-rail train trip — especially during rush hours and late at night — starting this week, in a bid to assure riders the service is safe.
