It's fucked up because it is a yesman machine that never disagrees or says no but is enough like a person for people to be comforted by that. It's enough like a person for some people to follow it through to successful suicide. And people are isolated enough to need that.

Unusual beliefs are not the same as delusions are not the same as psychosis are not inherently dangerous. ChatGPT making some people sound "mad" is not why it is fucked up.
