Hoegaarden is a delicious beer, but those octagon glasses are a terrible mistake. It allows it to open up and breathe, as it should, but it should be a taller, more elegant glass. The bottom inch always tastes like sludge because it’s too broad.

But it is a prestige TV show, so unlike a B movie there will be a character arc and you can see it developing. It’s not a bad show, it just leans pretty heavily on very worn tropes.

For me, the experience of watching it is lime watching a horror film where the protagonist does all the dumb things that the genre demands. Don’t go in the haunted house, you dumb twit! Except instead of a slasher film, it’s a viral zombie apocalypse.

Nobody asked me, but I refuse to use them because the noise is painful to my ears.

Yes. I watched the episode. She’s an idiot.

Gas *shouldn‘t* be $2 a gallon, and if it were then we would need to tweak the markets to reduce consumption.

This is one of those genre shows where the protagonist is an idiot because she’s apparently never watched the genre before. Everyone knows you need a gun in the post-apocalypse. Even if the zombies are friendly, there will be wolves. Dumbass.

I enjoyed the show. I thought you could have pushed back a little more when Terry argued that appointment of “personal lawyers” was a “conflict of interest.” The problem isn’t choosing lawyers who have represented him; it’s that they don’t accept the new role has different ethical obligations.

Well, let’s hope you’re right. Me, I’m agitating for the Butlerian Jihad.

Because quality control is so important to MegaCorp?

I agree it’s a garbage product. But garbage products are massively profitabl.

Businesses pay for slack, and they’ll buy ChatGPT too. People are lazy and corporations are greedy and they’ll welcome the opportunity to let machines do their work for them. Writing the instruction manual for an IKEA bookshelf? ChatGPT will do it at a fraction the cost and time.

You over estimate the integrity, intelligence, and work ethic of the average global consumer.

This was my introduction to Dr. Who. I had about 3/4 of it recorded on video tape and I watched it over and over again.

I honestly don’t care if it was self-consciously bad or not. It’s hilarious and I love it.

I know. I find it baffling but admirable.
