Tametsi is an incredible study in puzzle design and it's on sale for less than a quid. It doesn't have the polish of Hexcells but if you are into logic games like Minesweeper or Sudoku variants you will not find better puzzles. Highest possible recommendation. store.steampowered.com/app/709920/T...

Tametsi is a difficult logic game played on a set of tiles, in which you must use the clues provided to discover and mark hidden mines.

Panda manufacturing offers $25k in manufacturing for 25 folk with 2 or fewer published titles.

I haven't looked deeply into this, but I can imagine it being helpful for some of my friends here.

may be helpful or not

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: speaking as an artist, whether you love my games or hate them, the most important thing is that you buy them for money

I love this.
All CRPGS are based on attempting to bring TTRPG mechanics to PC. Ultima vs Wizardry is how TTRPGing were expressed mechanically
Ultima was about grand adventuring & storytelling, The view from the table top
Wizardry was about dungeon delving, combat & exploration. What you saw in the fantasy world

"It was like being 10 again" is genuinely the greatest compliment I can imagine.
reading @duncanmolloy.bsky.social's designer diary for joyride and saw this in the comments. my heart!!! this is why i'm so passionate about making games that appeal to wider audiences.

Enjoying how easy it is to tell whether I’ve just been put on a list of writers (“you have been followed by Elizabeth Paretti, Seb Belson, Sylvie P. Clare and Madeleine Madison”) or a list of game designers (“you have been followed by dustbones, a little acorn, it’s me jessssss, and BEN”)

Seems a good time for reintroductions!

I'm a board game publisher, developer & designer. I come from a theatre/live events background, my games tend to focus on interaction and atmosphere.

I'm Irish, a capital-D Dad, and getting more invested in both left wing politics and rock pools as I age.

Generations of voter suppression, the targeted focus of years of Russian influence online, an openly corrupt supreme court and basically every billionaire hustling for more tax breaks wasn't just a finger on the scales, it was two concrete blocks.

This wasn't a fight, it was a mugging.

Genuinely troubling that this post is a full year old.
Very slowly unlearning the habit of going to old sites that make me unhappy. In truth I'd love to get offline entirely, but the tabletop games industry is so globally scattered that it's my main way of staying in touch with almost anyone.

This is lunacy. Goliath have just bought a trophy cabinet and fired the team that won them.
UPDATE: None of the current Prospero Hall game developers or designers have been offered positions at Goliath, BoardGameWire understands. More details when we get them:
Funko just sold its board games assets and Prospero Hall design team to Rummikub maker Goliath:

The Zelda film should inarguably cast Mae Martin and Charlotte Ritchie from Feel Good as Link and Zelda, I will not be taking any further questions.

I publish TTRPGs for Rebellion Unplugged, where I publish the ADVENTURE PRESENTS pick-up-and-play series, and am working on the new edition of TUNNELS & TROLLS.

If you're an illustrator, author, cartographer, developer - hit me up!

Mixed experience of BlueSky so far. On the one hand it's much better than Twitter, but on the other hand @gailsimone.bsky.social doesn't follow me here, so how trustworthy can it truly be?
