Updated the character sprites for this project a few years ago. Tried to hit a sweet-spot between the PSX and SNES look using more of the latter's palette restrictions. X is fully animated and works in some test levels. Maybe I'll demonstrate that some day.

Why all the elephants in Beanotown Zoo have no tusks:
Entirely canonical Biffo strip frankensteined together from four panels that have appeared in OOC Biffo, with exactly one (1) modified speechbubble. Panel 1: Biffo leaves a room in his house which contains an upright piano. The piano is tied with rope to an apple tree that is coming in through the window, for reasons that are unlikely to become apparent at the moment. BIFFO: Hmmm... this piano needs new keys. Panel 2: Biffo, skulking in a shifty, up-to-no-good position with a malicious look on his face, has an audible idea. BIFFO: (Text radiating from head) IDEA! PANEL 3: Caption: "Soon—". Biffo leads a chain of at least four elephants, riding bareback on the first one. For reasons that are less likely than ever to become apparent, he is wearing speedos rather than his usual shorts and braces. At least one of the elephants has at least one tusk at this time. BIFFO: This way, gang! Panel 4: Caption "A few minutes later" Biffo, an expression of determined menace on his features, marches intently across the panel from left to right carrying a large saw.
