I’m learning* to knit this week because I want to make the sailor slippers all the knitters are obsessed with, and I’m learning SO MUCH and it’s really fun and also much easier than I thought it would be with all these wonderful YouTube tutorials teaching me so many techniques 🧶

The way the lights are set up for the set on our next stop mo short means I need to pop a squat every time I take a frame because there’s no other way I won’t be in the way other than totally leaving the room 😅

The eye doc laughed at me bc Ive got the same glasses for the past 3 prescriptions & she was checking the last two pairs & asking how I could tell them apart (the secret is the uv coating on one is fucked so you can see that if you tilt em)

I LOVE how this puppet is turning out!!
Tried out a different technique for the hair and beard on this puppet with some cotton ball sculpting using a combo of white glue and a whole lotta hair spray!

As someone who does not wear makeup I’m trying to learn to curl my lashes bc they’re very long and keep brushing against my glasses and making them dirty and I am going through it lol
Idk if it’s the carpenter blaming the shoddy tools or if the carpenter is an idiot but either way this sucksss

I signed up for a fountain pen secret Santa on Reddit and was excited to make some things to go along with their gift (like a leather travellers notebook, a pen roll case) and they do not want any of that kind of stuff at all, so that’s really unfortunate and this is so much less for for me now 😅

Went to GotCraft today, there was some cool stuff but damn was it disappointing to see a few booths selling boring & poorly printed 3D models that you can get off thingiverse or whatever. Really wish those tables were given to creators being a bit more thoughtful about their product 🤷🏻♀️

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

This is why I'm able to get as much work done as I do! I have high standards & try hard, but I know when to walk away & let things be as they are.
I don't know if this is a hot take or not but I would say one of the most important skills for a professional artist to have is to know when something is "good enough"
When you're on deadline there isn't time for perfection. Make it as good as you can, then let it go.
