Adipocyte (Fat cells) have a #memory of #obesity, hinting at why it’s hard to keep #weight off.

Even after drastic #weightloss, the shift in #epigenome (gene activity) of #fat cell seems to render them incapable of their normal function. Published in Nature 11/18/24. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
