Boston area folks, here's info on our ICE watch. Spread the word. bsky.app/profile/pron...
Friends—I need you to connect to your rapid response in your city. Your ICE watch. If you don’t have one, start one. I’m watching Minneapolis and we need to be prepared for what comes next. Know the activists in our neighborhoods. If you don’t know your rights now is the time to learn. Have a plan.

losing my mind at the "she should have followed directions" people

really? really? you're cool with "if you don't follow directions, they get to kill you"? that seems like a good state of affairs to you? that seems like how law enforcement ought to work: instant obeisance or death?

And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, eventually became a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Dawn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth!
And Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, eventually found himself on a planet called Third Earth, where he had a long-running quarrel with a group of anthropomorphic cats

‘dandiacal’ is a very good word and a good way to describe beerbohm’s a defence of cosmetics. indeed both dandy and maniacal… and funny that we’re still satirizing the same things 100+ years later
