Spotless bike lane report 4 days after snowstorm: Bloor between Dundas West and High Park rideable only with caution, and fully obstructed at some points. College appears cleared on some blocks, but other blocks have clear areas only the width of a tire, obviously cleared by people riding through.

There is an area in the ICE detention center in Minneapolis designated specifically for American citizens. Contemplate that for a minute.

Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident.

He forgot to put the vehicle in park, causing it to roll down the street damaging other cars. He jumped in the vehicle (which had no platess) and drove off without identifying himself.

Brad Bradford is Lying About Winter Bike Lane Maintenance
Brad Bradford wants to be mayor of Toronto, but I'm not happy with his efforts to gain the trust of the electorate. I think he's lying to us. Here's what Brad Bradford posted on his Instagram page yes...

I went on a 30km bike ride on Friday. On Lake Shore the plows literally use the bike lane as a dump zone, so they clear the streets and create a mountain of snow, forcing me to ride on the street - and don't get me started on the Bloor bike lane west of Jane. Unrideable. I just took a lane on Bloor.

I will ask this chap why he lies
Brad Bradford is using his former bike riding credibility to curry favour w the anti bike folks and become mayor. 'Don't worry I used to ride a bike and I now hate bike lanes too' (for political gain). This guy is the worst.

This politician/sitting councillor is either unaware of the state of municipal infrastructure and snow clearing ops, or he’s being disingenuous. Call him what you will, but lets just not call him our next Mayor.

Email him some constructive feedback: [email protected]

Given the state of bike lanes today (4 days post storm) I guess as councillor he’s already helped achieve that road safety target…

Within 500 meters of my house all bike lanes were unrideable this morning. That seems to be true across Toronto 2/3

According to Brad Bradford (wannabe Mayor of Toronto and guy who will complain about anything if you just put him on TV) as mayor he’ll make sure bike lanes aren’t spotless before sidewalks and “roadways” 1/3

It's funny to read this @bradbradford.bsky.social, an hour after asking my partner if opening a 311 ticket could get the contraflow bike lanes on my east end street cleared after plows pushed snow into the bike lane and it froze. You know better, Brad.

First step for me: figuring out how to carry a snow shovel on the bike. The Bloor bike lane at Runnymede looking west is really bad. Also it looks like Rowe Farms and Bread & Roses shoveled extra snow into the bike lane.

Hey @toronto.ca your bike lane snow removal is so bad that a handful of cyclists had to do it for you on their own time. Shame on you for neglecting the absolute basics of managing a major Canadian city in winter! And many thanks to them for their efforts. 🚲💚❄🌨
