Also unspoken is how these same employers—who are unable to communicate their wants and desires to the live programmers they have—are all of a sudden going to be able to perfectly generate problem descriptions for the robot.

Just get rid of those pesky question-asking people, money printer go whrrr

I swear about 60% of this film is improvised scenes they thought would look cool, without a lot of thread tying them together.

I will never not believe this is the original soundtrack to this scene.

I remember an old segment from Mad Magazine where they talked about the Civilian Consumption Corps, that needed to use all the products to keep the economy strong.

It feels more like an MBA "solution" every day.

And just like that, "This is the theme to Garry's show, the opening theme to Garry's show... Garry called me up and asked if I would write the theme song..." pops into my head.

I haven't seen it since it originally aired, I should fix that.

Am I weird for seeing that kajillionaire spending has an inverse relationship with how much things suck now?

I've already defended Operation Double 007 today, but I also wanna throw in Teenagers From Outer Space.

Derek really channels an alien who rebels against his society and learns about love thanks to sweet angel Betty. Plus that Buck Rogers cap gun they used as a prop must be worth millions now.

I really love Operation Double 007 (aka OK Connery) for what it is—it's a serviceable spy film with an excellent \Morricone soundtrack. Plus they give M and Moneypenny more to do than the main films ever thought of!

Secret Agent Super Dragon has a certain charm, too. Just give me more 60s spyjinks.
