Hi everyone, my sweet little dog had a really gruesome freak accident yesterday. Survived it pretty miraculously, but my partner and I are broke and facing new medical debt in order to make that possible. Any help would mean a great deal 🖤🙏

It miraculously missed puncturing vital organs and arteries. She got through surgery yesterday and if all goes well my partner and I will be able to bring her home this weekend. We are so SO grateful she is alive, we love her so dearly and this was really gruesome and scary for us all. However, the $7000 cost of the surgery has wiped out my partner's savings, and is adding a heap of medical debt back onto my Care Credit card. Can confirm that neurodivergent authors are more likely to get accused of AI writing because "AI detectors" determined that much of my pre-2020 work was "99% AI."

Interestingly, when I use an AI model trained on my own work to help me through difficult spots, the AI detectors think they're human.

i think -- and yall are going to jump me for this -- that most people cannot identify most ai writing because LLMs are trained on the writing of real people. and i think the moral superiority olympics that are currently happening are just as dangerous to real writers and artists.

I saw my first winter wren and fell completely in love with them. #birds #borbs
A tiny round bird with a giant head and stubby tail held straight up, their side facing the camera as they perch in a tangle of dead branches. They're assorted shades of brown, their tail and wings the darkest and reddest brown, with an almost pixelated pattern to them. Their breast is beige, with a beige eyebrow above their eye.
