No seriously, if you don’t already know me I’m not interesting enough to follow.
Dan, Babysaur and I went to Brewhall for lunch. We picked a couple shareables, some sliders, popcorn chicken, and Babysaur picked … a salad. I love this kid.

“You know self, like most Canadian kids, we grew up with hockey and wasn’t into it, but Heated Rivalry is awesome, let’s see if there’s anything worth salvaging in hockey culture.”

-reads about the Ottawa Senators goalie and the absolute garbage being thrown at him-

Nope, fuck hockey.

Wee tip: it’s icy af this morning and trolleys are having issues with frozen wires all over town. Choose non-trolley routes if you have the option this morning.

Last year I spent a week in Manitoba at Sheep Camp, this year I’m pretty sure I’m going to Salt Spring for Bog Witch Weekend and you know what? I’m doing it right.

Omg the request I made in 2022 for my grandfathers Canadian military records finally came through. 26 pages of godawful cursive to dig through.

Key takeaways on first glance:
- the man really loved his chickens.
- they recommended he not enlist because of my Nana. He was like “nah let’s go”.

So is LinkedIn really is just tech bros jerking each other off over AI or is it just my feed? Good god I’m glad I’m securely employed until I retire with no need to network and don’t have to delve into that nonsense.

This was a hell of a ride. (For OP.)
I just woke up from a nap and somehow while I was asleep, everyone on the bus has figured out we are not going to the right place

The people of Olympic Village were promised a school. They've been waiting for over a decade - putting their kids on buses and driving them across the city to schools that might have a spot.

Parents shouldn't have to play a lottery for their children's future.

Build the damn school.

You have to block them immediately. The full nuclear. They are only here to make folks angry, and that can’t happen if we lock them out.

Woke up with Wolf Parade already stuck in my head, so the obsession shows no sign of fading any time soon.

Like ok this is fine but I’d kind of like my life back now.

Crowd control is a skill. Jesus fucking Christ, teach it to your employees who may be faced with an unexpected crush crowd in a small holding area.

Completely unrelated to the above, Canada Line is having issues this morning.
