Lexington, Kentucky. I like horses and dogs. Thus the name.

Follow me for pet photography and asinine anecdotes.
Mama, we made it.

I'm at the Olympics and the entire stadium booed JD Vance. 😌

Jelly Roll has lost some weight since they painted that mural of him here in Lexington. Or the muralist did him dirty, idk.

How do you say “fuck ice” in Italian?

Take me back to the days when people had blogs and you could keep up with them all via google reader.

I want to delete tiktok but then how would I learn fascinating info like that the guy from Marcy Playground is a deadbeat dad?

I keep thinking about this as I prepare to embark on my trip to Milan as a volunteer for Team USA. 🙃

(Yes, really.)
As a fan of figure skating, it is wild to me that the most likely reason Ilia Malinin might not win a gold medal at the upcoming Olympics is that the US might invade Greenland and get our country barred from the Olympics.

I can’t start watching season 2 of The Pitt because my ER rewatch has just reached season 10 and I’m really mad at Carter rn.

It’s pretty neat that there’s a public transit option if you want to go Lexington to Louisville. Only 7 hours and 15 minutes! Wow. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Those European teens who do hobby horsing are more athletic than your favorite ball sport player. Probably mentally stronger, too, given all the bullying by grown-ass adults they shrug off.
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

It really did look to me like Baseball Dad Guy at that Phillies game took the ball out of Baseball Karen’s hand and I think that was shitty of him.

This doesn’t make Karen any less shitty for taking the ball back from Baseball Son but like, she was right to be mad about it.

I really like solar eclipses AND I really like Spain. This feels like a literal sign from the universe.
Eclipse preview for 2026.

Two lunar eclipses are on the way, along with a partial solar eclipse for much of Europe & North America.

And if you really like solar eclipses, you might want to relocate to Spain for the next couple years. 🧪🔭
2026 is a great year for eclipses. The 1st eclipse season starts with a remote annular solar eclipse on February 17th, spanning the Antarctic.

There are billboards in Pennsylvania for a personal injury law firm called Pond Lehocky. Just realized that Pond and Lehocky are probably two different partners and it’s not one guy whose parents were really into winter recreation.

There’s a short story where there’s a procedure that makes anyone instantly thin. It’s horribly painful and kills 10% of patients but everyone does it anyway and the few fat people that don’t end up being paid handsomely to live in what are essentially zoos. Anyone know this story? Anyone?

My resolution for the 2026 is to remove Meta products from my life as much as possible. I’m a photographer, and I know instagram isn’t necessary but it feels like it is?

Keeping up with local irl groups and events feels impossible without fb/ig.

How do you do it without isolating yourself?

You only need to buy one white elephant gift and then you just keep trading whatever you get from one party to the next for all Christmas parties for all eternity.

The solstice is a couple weeks out, but we’ve made it through the earliest sunset of the year. Things will get better. Or at least this one thing will.

(Yeah, the sunrise keeps getting later but what happens before 8 a.m. is none of my business.)
