I watch entirely too many movies, pet entirely too many cats, hate just the right amount of fascists, and break too many rules of threes. I came here for the same reason you did.
Those cheeseburgers need to work way faster, man

What’s happening is a war of treason being waged by the Republican Party’s paramilitary against the citizens of the United States in support of ethnic cleansing.
National media: Please stop describing what’s happening in Minneapolis as “protests.” There has been a modest, sustained protest outside the Whipple federal building, about 10 miles from downtown, but... 1/3

If you don’t already have anti-MAGA block lists in place (and if not, why are you even here?), the least you can do is block the hell out of this bit of Twitter Ragebait. Do it. DO IT.

I’ve been screaming bloody murder for Canada to break from the hostile monster to the South on this for a while, and I’m glad to see Carney pull the pin.

Incredible that the Orange Pedo has given China this kind of power, but he is also a huge moron, so.

Is David Zaslav running Microsoft now too?
Microsoft is so fucking stupid.

Microsoft Slopper-In-Chief says people should stop impugning their massive investment in slop
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says people should move beyond calling AI 'slop'

"We need to get beyond the arguments of slop vs sophistication and develop a new equilibrium ... that accounts for humans being equipped with these new cognitive amplifier tools as we relate to each other"

One of the most popular sites in the world, as run by a man with close ties to the president and has military contracts, is now officially a CSAM machine.

The man who runs it should be in jail. Anyone still on it must be shamed and shunned. This should be the top story everywhere.
For the last few days on X, people (mainly women, and sometimes children) have had nonconsensual images of them in swimsuits (or much worse) requested by users and created by Grok.

Musk's only apparent response thus far has been to crack jokes about it.
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

After decades of conservative hand-wringing about the undefined impacts of violent videogames, we now have a Magic Sycophancy Lying Machine that tells people to commit suicide or murder, and the virtue puritans are suddenly off staring at their shoes
Uh… check out what ChatGPT allegedly told a man before he killed his mother and then himself.

Aw hell. Ransone’s work as Ziggy in The Wire is just all-time greatness, and it’s impossible not to admire any of his work since.

None of us can truly know what struggles are being borne behind closed doors. May he finally be at peace.
I was just at the gym watching a The Wire s2 episode, and came back to this awful news. Ransone was incredible in that season — so believable as the screw-up determined to live down to everyone's low opinion of him. And great in almost everything else I saw him do. RIP.
'The Wire' Star James Ransone Dead at 46 After Apparent Suicide
James Ransone -- an actor best known for his role in the hit show "The Wire" -- has died ... and the medical examiner is pointing to suicide as the cause.

Furious to discover that AI is now heavily infecting the million terrible Christmas movies I watch every year. I’ve discovered that one guy specifically — Corey Lee Barker! — has done what appears to be Suno-generated tunes for no less than 27!!! holiday movies in 2025 alone. Heavy heavy boooooo

I’ve chewed through my fair share of filmographies, and I’d say Joan Blondell.

You get great classics like Footlight Parade, newer musicals like Grease, some great stuff like Cincinnati Kid and This Could Be the Night, and a slew of older movies with Cagney, Bogie, Robinson, etc. Easy choice.
This is a Bill Simmons game, but you’re stranded on a desert island. You can only have one actor’s filmography. You get it all, including cameos. But just the one performer.

I’m taking Cate Blanchett: Talented Mr. Ripley, LOTR, Life Aquatic, Black Bag, Tár, Ponyo, Hot Fuzz, Eyes Wide Shut, Thor
