Trump’s crimes are piling up. If he is not impeached during this term, our democracy is irreparably damaged as it will set a precedent for future administrations of either party. How long do we wait?

Powerful.
NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

I interviewed at MLA conferences 2008-2014--almost always in hotel rooms with predominantly male interviewers. I was middle-aged then, and the age discrimination, especially from young men on the interview committees, was pretty blatant.
If you are not in academia, you might not know this, but job interviews used to be held at conferences IN HOTEL ROOMS. Women candidates in a hotel room alone with often all-male committees. People sitting on beds! The horror stories I've heard.
I thing I sometimes thing about is that university departments were still doing job interviews in hotel rooms in the mid aughts

It's wonderful that we Californians made a difference tonite. We're often ignored in national politics b/c we are a safe bet to vote blue. But this vote-to combat gerrymandering in other states (looking at you TX)--puts us back in play as a state who can make a difference. Thanx Gov. Newsom!

Fifth generation Californian here. Don't screw with us. In 40 minutes you will see proof of that.

I love how Rep. Joe Neguse reframed this question.

Someone explain to me how the Trump lackey legislature can carve an exit strategy from the box they've willingly, stupidly, trapped themselves in? In other words, what is their least destructive way for them to save face to get a budget passed? I'm not seeing it--other than LYING UP THE YIN-YANG.

So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

a functional press would, every single day, repeatedly, across numerous paragraphs in every story about him, make it clear that this is indisputably the most corrupt President in U.S. history
Trump: "It's awfully strange to make a decision where I'm paying myself. But I was damaged very greatly and any money I would get I would give to charity."

Well said, Joe.
He is a horrible, terrible person.
Two days ago, he took a shit on the American people. Today, he began demolishing the People’s House. That’s all he does. He shits on people, and he destroys things. Bcuz he’s a horrible person. I blame him a lot for the death & destruction he’s caused. I blame his enablers & his appeasers even more.

The video Trump posted as a king dropping shitbombs on protesters is at once the low point in American civilization; an act of degradation that aptly encapsulates his presidency; an embarrassment that GOP officials will pretend they haven't seen; and a story the bollixed media will underplay.

Please tell me why a President—the President!!!—thinks it’s okay to post a meme of him flying a jet ejecting shit on Americans expressing their constitutional right to protest IS OKAY? WaPo and NYT- will you say anything about it on your pages tomorrow???

This is a profoundly absurd show of force that could put Californians directly in harm's way.

Flying live rounds over a busy highway without coordination between state, federal, and local partners isn't just wrong — it's dangerous.

From a friend who was driving north on I-5 this am:

“The five freeway will be closed today from noon until 3 PM to accommodate the live ammo demonstration from Camp Pendleton.”

This is going to create a huge traffic jam since there is no detour around it. Why the f**k are they using live ammo?

The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

In Portland, an ambulance was summoned to the ICE office to treat an injured protester (not clear how he was injured). But when the patient was loaded inside, ICE officers refused to let the ambulance leave and threatened to shoot the ambulance driver: www.wweek.com/news/2025/10...

Feds delayed medics who had come to pick up an injured protester. Then, according to confidential incident reports, the agents became aggressive.
