I've gotten a probationary ban for longer in response to less.

Eat it and stop being weird and dishonest.

It was such a fun season, but then we're down 0-2 to the freaking Bulls because without IT the rest of the team couldn't score and it and it became real clear the Cavs were gonna lay the absolute wood to them.

One player averaging 40 while the rest occupy a range of "I mean he's alright I guess" to "meh" will make your team good, but very much not great.

She appreciates the praise. All praise, really.

I say this gently- melting down online when it is not you who the target of harassing behavior is *extremely* juvenile.

The states that require yoi to be a lawyer to own a law firm have the right idea and those of us in them need to be prepared to defend that standard from attack, because this is not a good development at all.

I love when people go pull a definition they don't understand and just drop it on the table like a pocket ace, it's my favorite.

Hence "lied to".

This is so common when any moderation happens.
November 12, 2025 at 8:48 PM
I think people who've been on the internet/social media for any period of time and don't know you're playing with fire with putting "should" or "will" anywhere near death, in jest or otherwise are impossibly naive or actively lying.

A 72 hr ban is fine, shit happens, touch frass for half a week.

That's a pretty effective summary of my legal career, tbh.
November 12, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Same. And it wasn't just a learning style thing- I was going through school boxing, so having flexible review methods that catered to my strengths was absolutely crucial. Some classes I was just too beat to shit to get over- my study groups saved my ass.

I got antagonized my entire student life for not taking notes.

Never mind that my hands were often too bruised and swollen to hold a pen, or that I got more out of listening!

Myself and a lot of my circle are pretty moderate. We're pissed. Schumer has to go.
November 12, 2025 at 6:54 PM
Same. Their inability to find a spine is doing a *ton* of damage.

I'm a really big fan of letting adults do, literally, what they want as long as it's not disruptive.

People know how they learn. If they want to learn, they know how best to accomplish that- work with them. If they *don't* want to learn...different issue.

I literally give that speech in opening meetings now.

Yep.

I don't love fighting. Few do.

Sometimes somebody else makes the decision for you.

If you can get through that BC anxiety they can be absolute sweethearts. But that anxiety can be an issue, especially to an inexperienced owner. They're so smart, gotta put in the effort, sounds like you have.

Oh, she is. Total doll.
November 11, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I am a lawyer, and lawyers need to work, so I moved her off my lap for the laptop.

She decided to stay close another way.

That, teething, and learning to play, absolutely. Understanding puppy exuberance and stimulation is key to training them out of it.

So much puppy training overlaps if you *do* it all. Walk training, food, socializing, potty.

The baby shark face is my no means universal, and breed plays a role, but it is overwhelmingly common.
