Place National Guard in harm’s way for no good reason. Two members are tragically and unnecessarily shot. The reckless regime’s response: We’re sending 500 more National Guard troops! What a disgrace.

National Guard troops don't sign up to be used as political pawns. They sign up to serve their country, not needlessly deploy to American cities to pick up garbage. These two soldiers should be alive right now and at home with their families for Thanksgiving. I'm furious.

Important study found ag pesticides all throughout wildlife refuges in the Sacramento Valley. Location within reserves had no impact on pesticide presence, suggesting no place within these protected areas is safe from such contamination. Not great. 🧪

In case you were wondering, Joe Walsh — the former Tea Party guy who got fired from a job due to racial slurs, who proudly voted for Trump, who threatened Obama's life, who has since rebranded as anti-Trump — is a grifter. Don't love seeing him here and imagining the uninformed thinking he's legit.

All politicians posting "thoughts and prayers."

Apparently none are willing to say the truth: these National Guard troops shouldn't have been deployed in the first place.

This tragedy was preventable.

The President has put thousands of American men & women on the streets for no reason.

There's no reason those men should have been deployed in the first place. They should have been home with their families.

If there's one thing the mainstream news media love to overlook, it's the impact of the mainstream news media. The petite Tea Party in all its elite-backed astroturfiness was hailed like a sacred comet; the historically huge No Kings was played down by the NY Times, among other publications.

This is partly bc Mike Johnson is a shithole, and partly bc Trump has domesticated and threatened even the right wingers, but Stephen Miller has to be a significant part of this, bc he's an even bigger asshole than all the others.

X rolled out a new feature overnight showing where accounts are based. This network of “Trump-supporting independent women” that claimed to be “real Americans” are based in Thailand.

The photos were stolen from European models & posts pushed pro-Trump lines while targeting Islam and LGBTQ people.

Elon Musk donated $277 million to Trump so he could steal the federal government’s data, dismantle the nation’s infrastructure, and stop foreign aid from going to nonwhite people. It’s a quid pro quo breathtaking in scope, corruption, and damage, & completely unprecedented in American history.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.

Utterly indefensible
The Washington Post editorial board decided the Epstein files have “no public interest” before even seeing them. That’s a stunning position for any newsroom to take. Praising Clay Higgins as the lone ‘no’ vote, too? No wonder no one trusts legacy media. Absolutely disgusting.

well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

They are literally firing all the judges they think might grant relief. They just fired a friend of mine a couple hours ago. They have no shame. The bastards want an assembly line for deportations and nothing more; rubber-stamping bootlickers who’ll yes’sir at every new diktat to deny.
Instead of hiring more immigration judges, the Department of Justice just posted an ad for "deportation judges." join.justice.gov

any entomologists on here know what type of insects these might be? And what they’re up to?

Filmed today, in Finger Lakes area, above a field. I’m surprised that they are so active given that it has started to get down to the mid 20s (F) at night. Some kind of stonefly?
