We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.
-No politics. Nature, space, pets, science, movies, games and music.
We have a number of beavers setting up a home at a creek in our neighborhood. I's always a good time taking a group of the younger kids down to see their habitat.

#Volcanoes truly are some of the most fascinating things mother nature produces. They can be absolutely devastating when close to a populated area, but yet it's hard to look away with how fascinating they are. This is a recent eruption in East Java, #Indonesia.

Absolutely beautiful birds! Spring is approaching and I really need to get some feeders, get them set up so the birds can get at them, but the other wildlife won't be able to easily. We don't get a lot of Cardinals, but there is the odd one or two that pop by sometimes.
Handsome Northern Cardinal and a special surprise guest! #birds

I've lost track of how many times i've seen Blade Runner, but even with how much I enjoyed that, I haven't watched Blade Runner 2049 yet. I think i'm a bit concerned that it's going to suck, even though friends have told me i'd love it.

This is Oakley. He has an injury that requires physical therapy and at-home massages. Luckily, his cat sibling River has been training his whole life for this. 14/10 for both

I love the idea of more plants in our communities, wherever we can squeeze them in. But can you still see if the bus is coming? 😆

Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.
