Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth rejected bipartisan demands to release Pentagon footage of an airstrike that killed survivors of a first attack on an alleged drug boat.

But Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said, “Every senator is entitled to see it.”
Hegseth says he won’t release full boat strike video
The Pentagon chief also sidestepped a request for the House and Senate to view the Sept. 2 "double-tap" attack.

NEW: President Trump is expanding the previous 19-country travel ban to a whopping 39 countries (plus the Palestinian Authority), and appears to expand a block on legal immigration to now include spouses, children, and parents of U.S. citizens, who were previously exempted.

We are parents of a trans kid and our family takes this very, very personally. If you intentionally make life harder for our beloved daughter, it’s EXTREMELY hard to think of you as an ally, to say the least. @amyklobuchar.com - you still send us requests for money, while hurting our kid. Disgusted.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Some Dems have told themselves only ~1% of the population is trans so they can dip their toe in the anti-trans filth and come out clean.

I don't have any trans family members—but it still makes me irate. I see it as a huge red flag, a sign you are unprincipled and untrustworthy. And I'm not alone.

The political desire to define women solely in terms of their reproductive capacity is, and always has been, a way to control their bodies. This is why affirming trans rights is also affirming women’s rights. Feminism disrupts patriarchal logics that seek to police people according to their biology.

I don't know, Aaron. I think we need to take this seriously. In fact, after surveying hundreds of years of history in the past few days, I've written an article assessing the originalist case here:

The last thing our veterans need is FEWER people making sure they get the health care they need.

This is a grossly short-sighted decision by Secretary Collins. We need answers and accountability.
VA plans to abruptly eliminate tens of thousands of health care jobs
Strains on the Veterans Affairs system could grow with the elimination of as many as 35,000 mostly unfilled health care positions, including doctors and nurses.

As the film world and people of good taste around the world mourn the sudden death of legendary director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer, President Donald Trump jumped to make the apparent double homicide about himself.

This case has never been about one man alone; if the govt can violate the constitutional rights of one, all our rights are threatened.
