A negative review from the fascists at the Manhattan Institute is a badge of honor up there with a major award.

The folks that brought us the Bell Curve and Chris Rufo should be shunned and mocked, not taken seriously by anyone that matters.
Positively shocked that the house magazine of the Manhattan Institute is upset that my book refuses to attribute America's record-high homelessness to "personal choices"—rather than, say, rents outpacing income gains by 325 percent since 1985.

Brian Goldstone’s new book downplays the role of personal choices.

I really think the NYT will consider itself to have done a good job one we get to “President Trump, some critics say the ethnic cleansing and the camps are morally bad. What’s your response?”
*Trump spews the most racist logorrhea a sitting president has ever directed against a single ethnic group in one public interview*

"I've heard many people say that this is generalizing a population."

"THE PROBLEM IS NOT TRUMP'S ICE, BUT ICE ITSELF."

I drafted this memo eight years ago as a policy consultant for one of the first candidates in the US to successfully run for federal office on a promise to abolish ICE.

I meant it then, and I mean it now: ICE was a mistake, and it must end.

The agency we all just watched murder a US citizen with impunity is on the verge of being rewarded by having their budget quadrupled within the next three years.

July was the best time to stop this. Today is the next best time.

You'd hardly know from mainstream coverage that these actions were flatly illegal and totally unjustified, even by US standards, or that 80 people lost their lives on Saturday.

It is not that hard to cook up violations of US law against corrupt dictators we don't like and get them past a grand jury. A federal indictment is nowhere close to enough to justify a US military invasion and orchestrated regime change, and we all need to say that together or it will be

Merry christmas Bael Nation
My best educated guess on what Bael looks like under his helmet. Lore cited for each notable detail.

**again, this is a GUESS. Will we ever find out what he actually looks like? I doubt it. So in the meantime here's my incredibly unofficial render.

This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

1/ THE EPSTEIN IMPEACHMENT

The Trump admin's *known* efforts to obstruct the release of information & evidence connecting the sitting president to the most notorious sex trafficker in modern history are as impeachable as anything a president has ever done.
