Even though I’m far from Chicago and other ICE hotspots, I can’t shake the feeling that whatever happens to one of us is a message to all of us.
It’s hard to wrap my head around how many people I know—family, old friends—are excusing, even cheering, this kind of thing.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.
He is a computer safety researcher.
And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Hey #Godot devs 👋 Do you have recommendations for multiplayer frameworks?
At @twigbit.games, we used Nakama for Sky Museum, and now we're building a bigger game and I want to field my options before committing.
I've heard good things about Epic Online Services 🤔
Please let me know your thoughts!🙂

This is one of the reasons I think it'd be very helpful to also have something like "allow lists."
E.g. anyone I follow or add to an "allow list" is exempt from any blocklist I follow so I know my friends don't get added to a list I sub to.

Personally I’m not too pressed because I always assume the people who are truly interested in me will at one point notice/seek me out and undo the block, but for smaller accounts it’s messed up and can really screw you over
So yeah, I’ve become kinda anti block lists unfortunately

I trust you guys not only bc I know you, Davis, but also because I’ve seen you guys walk back on mistakes, be very concerned about getting it right, and also with a team vendetta/crashout is unlikely to happen.
So yeah, recommended! 🧡
