Labor in Britain has announced attacks on rights for asylum seekers - this is all grounded in Australian Labor’s awful and cruel policies here - deportation powers, detention, removing support and deliberate cruelty. michaelwest.com.au/britain-anno...

The Australian Government for the past five years has been pushing weapons sales into the UAE at an astonishing scale. This is the result. Australia tying itself to more appalling war crimes, now in Sudan.

This graph of global solar cell installation shows how the world has already left the Liberal Party behind in the coal dust. The future is renewable, it’s ubiquitous and far cheaper than fossil fuels. If only the sun could donate!

Liberal Party confirms they will not pull Australia out of the Paris Agreement - by deciding to never get into government - by chasing the Nationals to net political zero

In an Australia first, I used FOI to get the AI chat logs of Australia's top national security bureaucrat.

They show how he used Microsoft Copilot to ghostwrite speeches and messages to colleagues.

This comes as the government looks to push AI use in the public service.

Why is Nauru's president being snuck into Parliament House for secret meetings that we only hear about in a tweet after it has been exposed?

If this deal is so defensible, why won't Labor tell Australians what they're discussing behind closed doors?
I had a productive meeting with Nauru’s President Adeang today in Canberra - the relationship between our countries is critical on a range of issues.

How much money do you think a private school linked to Scientology should get from the NSW Government?

In 2022, the Athena school with only 55 students received total Government funding of over a million dollars.

The US should not be allowed to make Australia complicit in nuclear war. 50 years ago Whitlam believed that and he was right.

It’s time to end AUKUS. Close Pine Gap.

Offshore detention is a moral and financial black hole, bought to you by the Labor Party.

The Australian is surprised with the answers today when their pollster asked people, “what do you want most, food, health and housing or nuclear submarines?”

Spoiler alert, it’s not nuclear submarines.

Cairo Takeaway has always been more than a restaurant—they’re a community hub that’s never been afraid to stand for Palestinian rights.

Now they’re facing a defamation lawsuit. Legal costs are mounting and they need our support.

Sydney’s metro stations are genuinely inspirational public architecture and so deserve this award.

To everyone involved, the construction workers, architects, public servants and ministers, thank you for making these public spaces so beautiful.

We make no apologies for blocking Labor’s disastrous bill to kill FOI. The task for this Parliament is to make government more transparent and more accountable. Right now the Albanese government is the greatest obstacle to that.

The IDF is a State Sponsor of Terrorism. Labor's new laws allow them to be listed as such, so let's get on with it!

Robodebt was a mass deception based on a cruel bet: that people on income support would simply give up and pay debts they didn't owe.

Today I tabled a petition from Kath Madgwick and Jenny Miller calling for those responsible to finally be held accountable.

This new report on digital inclusion shows 1 in 5 Australians are digitally excluded, it's 40% for First Nations people, 45% for public housing residents, 67% for older Australians. As services move online, digital exclusion = exclusion from healthcare, education & opportunity.

When the ADF’s culture of bullying and harassment results in thousands of unreported sexual assaults, it shouldn’t take a class action for survivors to receive justice.

ADF leadership and Minister Marles are missing in action and women and young recruits are paying the price.

This is a major-general backdown from Commissioner Brereton who, up until now, tried to stare down the growing public revolt over the conflicts of interest.
