I've been diagnosed with Barrett's oesophagus.
While the condition can progress to something more malignant, this isn't always the case. Hopefully it's been identified early enough that management - meds, lifestyle changes, yearly scope - can be enough.

My mental health hasn't been great for a while.
Now my month of cons is over, the book launch is done (and the woes of submission are ongoing), I'm going to take a bit of time get my MH back in order.

I have heard more than one report of Toilet Policing at @worldfantasy2025.bsky.social , whether by con attendees, hotel guests or staff is unclear. Just wanna say, if you're pro toilet policing fuck off before I block you.
