IMDb has historically been a liiiitle on the finicky side when it comes to crediting actors in live-action dubs...

...until now!

IMDb now has a dedicated section for dubbing actors. I look forward to putting my live-action dubbing credits back up!

I could *certainly* be wrong here, it's not as though I have a crystal ball. However, here's where I think this will go.

I predict there will be a boom for this kind of thing--one that lasts a few years, for that matter--but that it will eventually...not "die out," but it'll go the way of <cont'd>

The final season of "9-1-1: Lone Star" was actually released on streaming over a year ago, but the AD track that I had the pleasure of recording for it was only heard on a few specialized TV channels. Well...as of yesterday, the AD track is now up on Hul and Disney+!

I love that smaller indie games can now have union actors working on them!

I love that small games more easily flipping U means it's possible to *make* people SAG-E through indie work!

I love that a bunch of union-member pals can now also do the videogame equivalent of experimental theatre (jams)!

FACT: Union-Only actors have decided to protect their minimums by working to flip their existing clients to union contracts, and often take a hit when initially making the switch.
