I like to read the bills in the US House and NC House myself rather than rely on the media to tell me what to think about them. It has been revelatory.

The GOP not only voted against this, but they passed HR 2811, Limit, Save, Grow Act, which is a wish list for the oil & gas industry. Check it out for yourself you can find it on congress.gov
The real division is working class Americans against the rich oligarchs. Don't let greedy billionaires cause divisions among us by using political party, race or gender.
The grasshopper gets it — divide and conquer. Today’s robber barons use the same playbook. But together, we have all the power. Watch.

Our economy is failing because of the Trump regime's actions, including billions lost from tourism to the US.
Musk's DOGE has metastasized into govt agencies.

"DOGE exists to help the extraction class disguise corruption, cronyism,& the brutal dismantling of consumer protection, labor rights, & the social safety net as as "innovative efficiency reforms" @karlbode.com 1/4/25

DOGE is gone, leaving behind 300,000 fired federal workers, 600,000 USAID deaths, and more
Here's everything DOGE did that affected the LGBTQ+ community at home and abroad.

The truth: He was vetted by Trump. He had a CIA badge, worked with the CIA in Afghanistan, and granted asylum by Trump in April.

Trump wanted to ignore the number of covid cases. Now that's what he and RFK, Jr. are going to do to our peril.
To combat bird flu spread, other countries have authorized poultry vaccines. The U.S. hasn’t, amid political and economic pushback.

Without a vaccine, experts say the virus poses an escalating threat: “The minute it transmits to humans, it’s done.”

What the U.S. Government Is Dismissing That Could Seed a Bird Flu Pandemic
Egg producers suspect bird flu is traveling through the air. After a disastrous Midwestern outbreak early this year, we tested that theory and found that where the wind blew, the virus followed. Vacci...

It's not Dem vs GOP, it's Americans vs the oligarchs who pay off Trump, one of their fellow cronies.
The EPA will approve two new pesticides containing “forever chemicals” and relax a reporting rule for companies who make products with forever chemicals.

The moves come after a $60 million lobbying blitz from the forever chemical industry.

Where is the MAHA outcry?

Another broken promise
Keep in mind that this serial liar also promised a hundred times during the campaign that he would be able to end the war “in 24 hours” with “one phone call” to Putin because he has “a great relationship” with him, “knows just what to say to him,” & “it won’t even be that hard.”

The bill last numbered H.R. 9495 would empower the Treasury Secretary to designate any nonprofit the Secretary wishes to kill a “terrorist supporting organization” and revoke the tax-exempt status on which it depends for survival. Unconstitutional but lethal in the harm it would do while in force.

Once again this shows it isn't Dem vs GOP, it's the oligarchs vs us Americans. Don't let them divide us. We need to work together.
Drug companies have hired over 500 lobbyists this year to gut the Inflation Reduction Act's drug price negotiation provisions.

They outnumber public interest advocates more than 20 to 1.

We must get money out of politics and end Big Pharma's deadly greed once and for all.

Where is the outrage over this despotic pronouncement? Don't normalize Trump's insanity!
The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.

This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.

Trump thinks that wherever he sends his ICE goons we are going to be scared into submission, instead he is galvanizing Americans against his regime.
Hours after Border Patrol swept through Charlotte, protesters filled uptown with courage, not fear. They marched peacefully, stood united, and refused to be intimidated.
Charlotte showed up.

The Big Bad Betrayal Bill will cost $3.4 TRILLION over the next ten years. Extending ACA tax credits would cost $350 billion over ten years — a fraction of the cost.

Republicans would rather give tax breaks to billionaires than make health care affordable for American families.
