Doing some monitor shopping since my LG 5K is having issues. Would absolutely love a retina DPI 3:4 aspect ratio display and this seems to come damned close with decent specs. Super interesting, although I’m sure getting support for it would be a nightmare.

Anyone belong to any good design or indie app communities? Looking for places to share things, and now that I’ve gone indie I’m missing being around folk more often! Some of the old Slacks, etc I was in have gone silent, or used my old company email and I forgot to switch before losing access.

My old 27” LG 5K’s thunderbolt port seems to have gone bad (won’t connect to my laptop as a display but still supplies power) and at least the first two repair shops I called don’t work on displays. Not the best time for me to have to buy a new display 😞

Anyone have a favorite photo editor on iOS they’d like to share? None have quite stuck for me. Looking for something with masking so you can edit one area seperate from others. Preferably with decent auto selection of backgrounds and objects.

1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.
This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

Any of my Shortcut friends know if there’s a way to set an Urgent reminder in iOS 26.2 via Shortcuts? I was initially hoping the Reminders widget would let me but it doesn’t seem to, and initially looking at Shortcuts it seems to be missing there as well.

Illinois needs a progressive income tax. It should be on the ballot every year until it passes.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
