They're really trying to act like sexual misconduct and trafficking have passed us all by and we don't have to worry abt them anymore. "Epstein was the only person behaving poorly and he's gone so let's move on" is not the argument they think it is.
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

MGT is mad that the administration is not being aggressive enough with the agenda. That's it. She's not turning into a good person. And now she's getting a taste of what she literally helped create & did to other congress reps online as a troll.

I don't care who is in the Epstein files. Throw them all in prison. Dems, Republicans, anyone. All of them. That's why this won't go away. It's not political. Anyone involved should go to prison.

Only MAGA can get away with claiming that a 15 year old is not the same as an 8 year old. In any normal country this statement would end someone's career and send them into hiding. Meghan Kelly will probably just get a raise. Podcast disinformers doing their thing.

It's like the White House gets a list of the worst people in prison everyday and then picks one of them to pardon. Trump is the "Make a Wish" for criminals in prison.
November 13, 2025 at 3:18 PM
They will never release the Epstein files. No way. It's going to be blocked. And then blocked again. The people on the list are committed to doing anything to keep it from going live.

I firmly believe problems could be solved in advance if reviewer #1 could communicate with reviewer #2.

It's more than 10% for sure. Social media makes $billions on disinformation. It is a business model. This is not new information. It's been going on for over a decade.

The 50 year mortgage reminds of the 3 year degree. It's an ideal that refuses to acknowledge and address the reasons no one can finish college in 4 years or get a mortgage. It's about money and wages.

When I studied professors using video feedback to respond to student writing for 16 weeks, each video was on average 2 mins & 23 seconds & 354 words. Nearly 3x's the word count of each professor's written feedback. I examined over 100 pieces of video feedback.

It's the big beautiful 50 year mortgage that's like a school loan that won't ever decrease in principle until you pay three times the amount of the loan.

All the joy from the election wins last week has been completely erased this week with Dems voting to increase healthcare (surprise) and Trump erasing the history of his insurrection w pardons.

There has never been a time in my entire working life where I got to keep an increase in wages. Every time I get a raise something else increases & gobbles up the increase & then some & now I'm actually making less. Insurance, health care, food, gas, anything, everything going up all the time

Doing your own research is becoming synonymous with asking AI and it's not great.

The recommendation for overcoming flight delays during the government shutdown is to buy a refundable plane ticket for an extra $300. Sure. Great advice. So much winning.

It's wild how the media refers to the Trump administration like a corporation. "The trump administration has stock or ownership in these companies now" or "the trump administration made profits on " How is that even possible? How can an office that serves the people become an entity that owns stock.
November 5, 2025 at 2:15 PM
YouTube and Disney selling us their public fight over how much they can raise everyone's bill every month is so wild. Two giant, greedy media companies arging over what's fair and equitable for their profits.

As someone who researches and publishes on feedback I can assure you feedback is where most of the teaching takes place in writing classes. Facts. Outsourcing that move is outsourcing teaching. Just get out of teaching then.
I understand the instinct. Grading/giving feedback is easily the part of teaching that demands the largest investment of cognitive load and time.

It's also literally where 90%+ of ACTUAL LEARNING happens. It *is* the work. That's why it's hard. That's why it's important. That's why it's human.
The faculty who say we should use AI to grade/give feedback because it's a way for us to "reclaim our time."

Line in the sand.

It isn't our time. It's theirs. If you have such little respect for your students and their time, quit.

Disrespectfully, the rest of us.

Let’s be clear, most EBT users are white. The reason he’s specifically lying about “weaves” and we’ve seen so many AI fakes of Black women ranting about food stamps is they need to make BW the face EBT because they know many Americans don’t care if Black people suffer, and some actually wish for it.
ROB SCHMITT: People are using SNAP benefits to get their nails done, to get their weaves and their hair. This is a really ugly program.

SEN. RON JOHNSON: That program needs to be dramatically reformed.

When all the institutions expected to generate the profits for AI don't want AI, there's going to be a problem. The entire country is going back to low tech, bluebook style teaching to avoid this garbage tool. Nobody wants AI. The evidence is pretty clear.
Tech companies are pouring money into AI, and they’re not making it back. Matteo Wong and Charlie Warzel on how everything could come crashing down:
Here’s How the AI Crash Happens
The U.S. is becoming an Nvidia-state.

When I see these kinds of correlations and stats, I think about the amount of college educated people I know who can read that have voted for this chaos.
54% of American adults read below a 6th grade level. That should tell you everything you need to know.
The question of "why do people vote against their self-interest" is pretty self-explanatory when you look up the literacy rate in local schools.

We have high schools with a literacy rate of 32%.

Thirty-two percent...

This administration would rather starve 100 people because 51 of those people didn't vote for him.

If you can, donate to the food pantries cause it's about to get really bad in a few days.

The AI cheating/apology post going around is a symptom of the real problem. Universities are putting AI in front of the students & encouraging them to use it. There is a massive conflict of interest now between the university & its learning outcomes. Universities are responsible for all of this.
October 30, 2025 at 1:32 PM
This will ruin the university system in the state. You can't have a top public university without diversse faculty. The more the better. Hate it all you want but it's a FACT.
