I always said I would never live in a city managed by people dumb enough to bid on the Olympics. Yet here we are.

I've been listening to a lot of Justin Townes Earle lately. His death sort of broke me as a person early in the pandemic because it just seemed the most "things are already bad and are getting worse" moment.

I have seen some Mets things in my life but "the Emmy-winning broadcast producer got fired because he had an affair with the lead camera operator's daughter" is frankly raising the bar for the off-season.
