I’ll Be Glad When You Dead…

Buck Woods tells German-speaking Nazis what he thinks of them while performing in France. Somehow feels relevant these days.

From REUNION IN FRANCE, starring Joan Crawford and John Wayne, released on Christmas, 1942.
44 million people get SNAP benefits
22 million people get enhanced ACA benefits

So for Democrats mad about the Senate voting to end the shutdown because voters don't want it-- which voters are they referring to?

The 22 million people who'll pay more for insurance, or 44 million who are destitute?

So just how many of the nation's richest 100 people are Trump supporters?

I created a report here to answer that question: www.perplexity.ai/page/-xEv0rQ...

As millions of Americans now rely on charity thanks to Trump's refusal to fund SNAP, I thought it interesting to see what religious groups provide the most charity to the poor.

These figures were calculated by AI, so I'm sure they're not totally accurate but they give a general overview.

Again Scott Galloway is wrong about the monetary system on PIVOT with @karaswisher.bsky.social No, the Fed gvnmt doesn’t need to raise revenue through taxes to fund the budget! That’s factually wrong.

Will @profgalloway.com ever read Stephanie Kelton’s book on this? @stephaniekelton.bsky.social

Not all billionaires are bad. Michael Moritz @michaelmoritz.bsky.social & wife Harriet Heyman are providing $9 million to SNAP recipients in SF.

There ARE wealthy anti-MAGA people doing good-- like @mcuban.bsky.social, @moskov.goodventures.org, Reed Hastings, Paul Graham, Laurie Michaels, etc.

Gavin Newsom @governor.ca.gov & other Democratic Governors need to make it clear that it's because of them that SNAP benefits are being reinstated.

DEMOCRATS sued the USDA, not Republicans.

DEMOCRATS fought for vulnerable people in Republican states!
Donald Trump needs to release SNAP funding immediately. Do what's right, for once.

California will keep fighting to make sure Trump doesn't force millions of Americans to go hungry by illegally withholding federal food benefits.
Breaking News: A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to continue paying for food stamps during the government shutdown. SNAP, which aids 42 million people, was set to run out of funds on Saturday without intervention.
