A moderate-length but immodest proposal: it's time for Delawareans to start planning for a future beyond the corporate franchise – and we need to do it before angry billionaires force it on us first.
The Best Thing to Ever Happen to the State of … Delaware?
This post argues that the forces pushing DExit – and thus the death of the corporate franchise –cannot be appeased by Delaware, so we must consider the future without the franchise ourselves,…

It’s a very big deal that Spotlight reporters published details about how and how much public money is being spent to support ICE’s favored airline.

Why? Bc the body gifting ICE Air all this public cash – the Delaware River and Bay Authority, or DRBA – is an oversight black hole.

My god.

After 4 days in ICE custody, they found the man in a shower stall hog-tied, with a sheet around his neck.

The medical examiner claimed there were other instances of this.

Which means this is not an isolated case.

Why are oligarchs increasingly shameless about the pressure they're putting on the Delaware political establishment to remove every restraint (however flimsy or self-evidently ridiculous) on investor-managers & controllers? Well,
Maybe collectivist thinking is spreading anew.

Definitely this generation of oligarchs, not unlike the Versailles Courtiers of the 1780s, are so decadently assured in their power, they no longer appreciate whisperers like Summers, or bards like Milton Friedman.

Greedheadery is naked again.

“…for such searches, police are simply prompted to enter text into a "reason" field in the Flock Safety system. Usually this is only a few words–or even just one.

In these cases, that word was often just “protest.” “

(The sneaker market platform that Kalshi partnered with to offer New Balance futures, StockX LLC, is a Michigan domiciled company)

"Instead, the Coast Guard will classify the Nazi insignia as 'potentially divisive' under its new guidelines.
