Still libraries, websites, Ann Arbor politics, college sports (mostly Virginia and Michigan with a newly-added parental interest in Nebraska). You know, the usual. XML alchemist.

So disappointed in Debbie Dingell
The House voted 341 to 79 to fund Trump's war-mongering foreign policy agenda.

Only 57 Democrats voted NO.

We are so lucky in Ann Arbor! Our library has such a variety of interesting events.
Former NFL player & social rights activist Chris Kluwe joins sci-fi author John Scalzi at AADL! This engaging conversation and Q&A will take you on a ride through the various worlds they both inhabit!

Join us, Thursday, January 29 at 6 PM at the Downtown Library.

Yes! When the chatbot gives you a link to the English translation of an obscure article in French published in 1910 that you can't find anyplace else, you have to suspect it's fake. And yet, you still email telling us we have broken links. And you don't reply when we ask where you got the link.

I’m a lifelong democrat. But if anyone tries to raise my taxes to pay for schools, libraries, or sidewalks, I will be forced to campaign with Republicans for the fifth consecutive election cycle. #a2council

The architect whose name is attached to the project -- James McCrery -- went to THE Ohio State. I'm just saying.

@averysafecat.bsky.social Important question -- were you still in the UK for the Bruno Brookes BBC Radio 1 Top 40 years? We were there 86-89 and so was he. For some reason I woke up this morning with the sound of him saying "Bananarama" in my head. Is this a sign I am losing my mind?

I’m over here near Side Biscuit and frankly, everyone has sounded great except John Mayer — weirdly distorted keyboards. Crowd didn’t sing Mr. Brightside nearly as loud as a football crowd, though. The Texas Gentlemen were more to my taste than the headliner tbh.
I’m two blocks away and can’t hear anything. Maybe a vague thumping noise? Like, we were astonished how quiet it is. I think we are below the bowl and the sound must be going over us.

In 2018, we promised voters we would fund a park on the library lot without taxpayer dollars. Instead, we spent our 501c3's money on mailers opposing proposals that'd fund the park for free. Here's why it's everyone else's fault that the parking lot has remained desolate and uninviting. #a2council

As the August 5th election nears, we've been getting a lot of questions from patrons who have heard or read false claims about Proposals A&B. So, we've put together this page with the false claims we've heard and the facts that refute them:
